The
HomeMinders package
includes
four core services:
Home Visits
Home Reports
Alarm
System Management
Key
Holding.
In addition
we are pleased to provide a comprehensive range of additional services
which clients can add to the core services to design their own tailored
package to meet individual requirements.
1.
Home
Visits (core service)
HomeMinders will visit your home
regularly to check that all is safe, secure and watertight. In
addition to any specific checks that you may request, we will attend to
light bulbs (internally and externally), water pot plants, plumbing (run
the taps, flush WCs and check drains) etc and make sure that gutters are
free flowing.
HomeMinders
will also
visit your home to examine any issue raised by you as soon
as practically possible. Similarly, in the event that you unexpectedly
need to leave the property, HomeMinders will visit your home at the
earliest possible time to ensure it is properly secured.
2.
Home Reports (core service)
Following each visit to your home, your HomeMinders consultant will
provide you with a report outlining the details of the visit, highlighting
any areas of concern. Photographs can be used to help illustrate problems
identified, with quote
preparation should this be necessary.
3.
Alarm System Management (core service)
As your key holder, HomeMinders will be the primary contact for your alarm
company should the alarm be triggered. We will liaise with them should
the alarm need to be re-set and the property re-secured. In addition,
HomeMinders will perform the recommended burglar alarm test on your
behalf, the outcome of which will be included in your Home Report.
Smoke
alarms and carbon monoxide detectors will also be tested.
4. Key
Holding (core service)
HomeMinders will provide a secure key holding service for your home,
vehicles and post office box.
5. Cleaning
and Airing
HomeMinders will ensure that your home is cleaned and aired on a regular
basis. During those times that you take up residence in your home,
additional house keeping services can be arranged.
6. Account
Payments
HomeMinders offers a centralised household accounts payment service for
your convenience. A monthly summary of accounts paid will be provided
with all original invoices retained for your reference.
For clients
with pre-paid electricity meters, recharging the meter will be undertaken
as part of this service.
7. Home
Arrival and Departure Service:
Prior to your arrival, HomeMinders will ensure that your home is ready for
immediate occupation. The geyser/s will be turned on ensuring that you
have hot water on arrival. Beds will be made up with fresh linen and
bathrooms will be stocked with fresh towels. Fridges and freezers will
also be turned on. In addition, HomeMinders can arrange for the fridge
and larder to be stocked and flowers ordered. A childminding service can
be arranged if required. HomeMinders will be happy to make restaurant
booking/s on your behalf.
Following
your departure, HomeMinders will ensure that your home is cleaned, the
geyser turned off and fridges/freezers defrosted and cleaned. We will
also launder the bed linen and towels and arrange any additional laundry
requirements. Finally, we will ensure that the property is once again
properly secured in your absence.
8. Gardening
Service
Should you have a garden services facility in place, HomeMinders can
manage the service provider ensuring they fulfil their contractual
requirements. Alternatively, HomeMinders is geared to provide a full
gardening service.
9. Pool
Care
Should you have a pool care contract in place, HomeMinders can manage this
service provider ensuring they fulfil their contractual requirement.
Alternatively, HomeMinders can provide a comprehensive pool-care service
including inspection of pool pumps, filters, heating systems, water
quality and chemical levels.
10.
Post Management
HomeMinders will collect mail from the property and can either hold onto
this until your next visit to Cape Town or, forward this post to you. An
alternative option is that HomeMinders scan in all mail and send it to you
electronically.
